Biotechnology and Medical Head of Technical Support
Location: Remote – home based
Salary: Approx. £60,000 to £70,000 per annum (please give us your salary expectations)

Main duties:
In this highly operational role, you will be managing the company’s technical services team across Europe, ensuring efficient support for the company’s products and services users and distributors.
This includes technical guidance, training, troubleshooting, and software support.

The role:
– Serve as an expert for both the company and its competitors’ products and services
– Provide technical support both internally and externally (end users, customers and distributors)
– Lead and support a team of technical customer support advisers
– Monitor team’s performance, set objectives and implement procedure improvements as required
– Oversee team’s training needs and ensure their qualifications and certifications are timely renewed
– Contribute to develop training material for end users and distributors
– Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
– Maintain good practice and complete relevant documentation,
– Maintain and enhance procedures within the company’s Quality Management System

 

– Excellent level of English with fluency in another European language desirable
– Experience in bacterial endotoxin testing would be beneficial
– Background in Biomedical / Clinical testing or Pharmaceutical industry essential
– Experience in Sales or Technical support
– Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and a range of stakeholders
– Exceptional organisational and time management skill
– Strong leadership capabilities
– Confident, proactive & dynamic
– Driving license holder
