EMEA Bottle Spirits Area Sales Manager

Salary: Up to £60,000 pa + Bonus DOE

Main duties:
To manage and develop all sales & business development strategies in new markets. Sales focus: Asia, Mid East, later Africa and Latam

The role:
To develop a bottled spirits operation
To help register and develop brand for a new budget and Mid price Scotch Whisky Brand.
To meet regular sales targets / analyse product group performance
To create a sales strategy with 2-3 year business plan
To implement and drive forward that plan
To Identify and select distributors / sales channels
To negotiate and implement sales contracts with distributors
To identify potential suppliers and tying down commercial terms with them
To prepare sales, POS, marketing documentation
To liaise weekly with Head of trading on progress and issues on ongoing operations
To maintaining up-to-date files on own operations
To report to the Head of Sales in London

Candidate's Profile:

Fluent in English & French language
Experience working with the wine or spirits industry outside of Europe
International & export working context from: logistics, contractual, legal, payments/LC, QC, agent
Relevant industry experience attained from wine or spirits sector - ideally
Result oriented / Target driven
Experience managing budget, KPIS and strategy planning
Persuasive – strong negotiation skills
Good communication skills & Proactive and self motivated
Excellent PC skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint…)

Salary:

Up to £60,000 pa + Bonus DOE
