European Export Sales Manager (Gift/Toy Industry)

Location: West Sussex or South East – UK based – ideally near Airport.

Main duties:
Reporting directly to the MD, you will develop, maximise and manage the Export Sales function and drive product sales across all European channels.

The Role:
- To develop country specific GTM plans, implement the brand strategy by working closely with all stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and    Product team) and execute sales strategy within the European markets
- To manage distributor’s strategy, ensuring revenues are maximised as well as market share, brand presence online and margin to drive SKU      productivity.    
- To analyse sales, performance by category and communicate weekly updates on progress
- To run a training program to ensure all stakeholders are clear on products and plans (Distributor Country Managers & Sales Reps / agents and      marketing)
- To attend tradeshows and key account meetings with either Distributor, Country Manager or KAM or sales agent per country
- IT literate


Candidate's Profile:

- Fluent in French (written & spoken) is a STRONG ADVANTAGE
- Experience in European Distribution management, Senior Key Account Management or similar in a fast-paced business environment is ESSENTIAL
- Proven track record of implementing sales programs and procedures
- Confident of operating at senior management level and representing the business
- Ability to make business critical, strategic decisions with technical problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills at C-level (Networking)
- Knowledge of European contract terms, foreign currencies, tariffs and trading regulations
- Flexible as extensive travel will be required
- Must be Drivers licence & Passport holder
