European Logistics & Transport Planner
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: Brentwood, Essex
At commutable distance London, East London, Chelmsford, Basildon, Romford, Epping, Dartford (Located next to train station)

Main duties:
Planning of movements of tank containers, by rail, sea and road across Europe and British Isles.

The Role:
- Execute intermodal transport of bulk orders for a European client base.
- Order process from start to finish (loading – delivery - invoicing)
- Allocate transport orders to resources & carriers
- First point of contact with customers and suppliers
- Deal with enquiries on a daily basis via email and over the phone
- Optimize the transports costs / Process and follow up the orders
- Responsible of tanks, their location and status, reporting any damage
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, clients and different departments
- Manage customer relationships by site visits and meetings when required.

 

- Additional fluency in European language - advantageous
- Previous experience in transport / logistics (ideal)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work as part of a team as well as to take initiatives
- Able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
- Proactive and dynamic personality
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook…)
- Able to work under pressure and multitasks

Between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum DOE + Benefits
