Food Quality Specialist (Hybrid)
Location: London, City of London (Hybrid working)
Salary: between £35,000 pa and £40,000 pa DOE

Main duties:
Investigating non-conformances, issuing Certificates of Analysis, approving toll manufacturing orders and auditing warehouses and factories.

The Role:
- Approving new suppliers and evaluate risk assessment
- Investigating non-conformances and updating with a complete report including corrective and preventive actions
- Supplier monitoring and renewing audit packs documentation. This involves:
- Renewing audit packs
- Updating and reviewing product documentation/specification
- Approving toll manufacturing orders
- Arranging laboratory analyses
- Responding to technical queries from customers & suppliers related to ingredients/ quality and food safety

- Degree or equivalent in food science, food technology, or related science discipline would be an asset
- Previous work experience in Auditing in the food industry, including at least two years in a quality assurance/food safety function within food production or manufacturing
- Experience investigating non-conformances
- Successfully completed HACCP / ISO 9001 / BRC training courses
- Successfully completed Food legislation / Food labelling training
- Good communication skills – able to write and speak clearly and articulately with various stakeholders
- Able to prioritise and handle change of priorities
- Able to work under pressure
