French speaking Accounting Manager
Location: Gloucester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Main Duties:
To oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the UK and France, while leading the accounts team.

The Role:
– Lead and develop the accounts team, setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met
– Oversee all accounting operations across legal entities, including multi-currency reconciliations, trial balance accuracy and debtor management
– Produce monthly, quarterly and year-end management accounts, including VAT, VIES and EU reporting
– Manage cashflow reporting and support annual budgeting and forecasting
– Maintain strong financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous process improvement through KPIs
– Assist in other assignments and projects when required, ensuring confidentiality at all times

– Fluent in French (written and spoken)
– Previous experience in a Finance role
– AAT qualified would be an advantage
– Strong leadership skills
– Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
– IT literate with experience with Excel and Sage
