French Speaking Transport and Staff controller
Able to work 7 days a week on a rotational shift pattern
Location: Folkestone
Salary: £36,000 per annum plus benefits

Main duties:
You will be responsible for the management and assignment of staff to ensure smooth operations as well as provide relevant information to internal and external departments

The role:
– Collect, record and communicate information in order to ensure a smooth run of activities
– Ensure teams start their shift timeously and arrange cover if needed
– Ensure company policies are maintained and followed by staff
– Ensure staff are maintaining a high-level of customer service
– Respond to enquiries from staff and internal departments
– Monitor and log operations in the control centre as well as identify issues and escalate to the necessary departments
– Comply with all safety documentation as needed for the role

– Fluent in French (written and spoken) essential
– Previous experience in railway / control centre beneficial but not essential
– Ability to work under pressure as well as in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent communication skills and able to lead by example
– Good IT skills
– Valid Drivers licence and passport essential
