French speaking Travel Specialist
Location: Newcastle
(remote working options possible)
Salary: Around £30,000 per annum OTE

The role:
Providing exceptional events and tours organisation services to clients and prospective groups travelling across Europe

Main duties:
– Provide a high-level customer experience to all clients
– Handle inbound communications and respond accordingly
– Respond and deal to all queries in a timely and efficient manner
– Issue competitive and comprehensive quotations and travel itineraries
– Gain continuous knowledge of clients’ requirements and offers
– Identify potential sales leads and follow up to maximise conversion
– Travel to events and exhibitions to represent the company

– Fluency in French is a must
– Experience working with a tour operator or similar service provider is essential
– Must be based in the UK / a UK resident
– Experience in events organisation, ticketing and booking, or working for a travel organisation
– Experience using travel reservation software (Amadeus, Galileo, etc.)
– Positive, problem solver, confident and dynamic personality
– Good team player and excellent communication skills
– Excellent attention to detail and IT literate
