*** This position will initially be Home based (London area) and will be required to travel both in UK and abroad to meet the Company’s business needs ***

Main duties:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the purpose of the role is to establish & maintain sales levels against set company targets. You will be responsible for researching leads and developing long term customer relationships with contractors / Architect UK Wide
Strategically the UK is our Client's 2nd Market after France

Description:
- Research & develop new / emerging construction projects
- Promote the concept & product range through architects, technical studies & other
  strategic potential customers
- Learn complete product range through training / researching company literature:
  brochures for product/technical information / prices
- Develop product ranges in market segments in accordance with sales policy
  (consultation with the Sales & Marketing Manager)
- Guarantee successful business via relations with architects, contractors, etc. UK wide
- Relations with the subcontractors, accounting partners company -  Management of the
  sales flow up / recovery  payment
- Receive telephone calls from retailers, clients, ensuring all calls are dealt with in a
  friendly and professional manner
- Project a positive image when representing the company to clients
- Ensure up date merchandising techniques are used to enhance sales potential
- Promote and train retailers, clients on new products, technical information, and
  promotional activity
- Report / coordinate with internal departments such as Marketing, Purchasing, R&D,
  etc... 


Candidate's Profile:

- Fluent in English & French (written & verbal)
- Willing to travel UK wide to develop business
- Construction background & experience in technical sales
- Social & outgoing with the ability to spend a lot of time on their own on the road and in
  hotels
- Possess excellent communication skills, to communicate complex product information,
  clearly and concisely
- A flair for presenting a product combined with the ability to undertake training of
  customer staff
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills and ability to grasp large amounts of product information
- Clean driving licence, including the confidence to drive on the continent
- Sales experience of dealing with owner managers
- Excellent interpersonal skills and articulate
- Good telephone manner
- IT literate, with good MS Office skills
- Highly organised with good route planning and time management skills
- Ability to work to set standards and procedures
