General Manager (GERMANY BASED)
Location: Düsseldorf
Salary: €120,000 pa plus commission

Main duties:
Assist with the set up of the new site based in Germany as well as to be responsible for the running of the daily operations

The Role:
- The set up and fit out of the German site which includes the coordination of traders to ensure the successful start by the end of 2023
- Assist with the recruitment of the German team which involves on boarding and training
- Be responsible for the day to day running of the operations overseeing all activities and processes
- Ensuring that the operation is run safely and that all Health and Safety, Quality and environmental requirements are complied with
- Be accountable for achieving high quality delivery and performance
- Be responsible for managing the German team which includes: recruitment, retention, training and development
- Be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and equipment as well as the control and storage of all stock
- To monitor and control budgets, identifying areas for cost optimization
- Be responsible and accountable for all outbound logistics ( product control, shipment, delivery)
- Develop and implement strategy plans

- Fluent in German and English (Written & spoken) essential
- Min 5 years’ experience as a General Manager / Operations manager essential
- Experience working within a production / assembly / logistics operations beneficial
- Familiar working with budgets, Health & Safety, people management and delivery performance
- Degree in engineering / technical field an advantage
- IT literate, (Excel, Word and outlook)
- Team leader able to build good working relationships
