Main duties:
To provide supports to the operations manager and the MD in the growth of the business.
To manage day to day operations and manage a team of Customer Service

The Role:
- To support the Operations Manager & MD with business growth plans
- To carry out day to day management of operational staff
- To develop customers' accounts through your team of operators
- To support  financial and Customer Service objectives
- To meet and exceed Financial & Customer Service targets
- To ensure your team of operators satisfy customers by exceeding their service
  expectations
- To train, supervise and appraise your team
- To lead your team in a professional manner and help them develop skills and capabilities
- To ensure that your team is motivated to enable them to provide excellent quality of
  service


 

Candidate's Profile:

- Fluent in English (Written and Spoken) is essential
- Fluent in German is desirable
- Any other European language will be a strong advantage
- Previous Freight Forwarding experience is desirable
- Leadership, management experience is essential
- Knowledge of EU Driver's hours and working time regulations is essential
- Knowledge of European road transport market is essential
- Knowledge of local European LGV requirements
- Persuasive and Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to details - Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office) and able to learn new software

Salary:

up to £40,000 p.a. depending on experience + benefits
