Import Coordinator

*** Office based role, working hours Mon-Fri: 8:00 – 4.30pm ***


Main duties:
To Deal with all freight shipment to deliver the stock the UK warehouse.


The Role:
- To liaise between suppliers, forwarders and transport agents to obtain all paperwork and up to date information in a timely manner
- To coordinate and track shipments, check the vessels arrivals and update the Purchasing team
- To prepare all paperwork and documents to ensure the Freight Forwarders can collect all stocks
- To ensure quarterly report done and submitted to the Finance Director and Operations Director, to confirm actual sea/air Freight costs per garment, incurred on all garments despatched and delivered
- To check and authorise all shipping invoices
- To update stock records accurately

Candidate's Profile

- Studies or experiences related to the role(Import, Purchasing, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Supply Chain or Transportation)
- Knowledge about import regulations (air/sea freight)
- Effective communication
- Attention to details
- Ability to multitasking and prioritising
- Able to work on own initiative
- Lives at commutable distance from Bradford are – ideally car owner
