International Shipping & Operations Coordinator
Salary: Circa £35,000 pa DOE
Location: London

Main duties:
To be responsible and support for the day to day trade & logistics operations

The Role:
- Liaise with the Asian logistics team regarding shipment & documentation
- Organization of scrap logistics both deep sea and inland between suppliers & customers
- Develop relationships with existing and new customers in Italy and management of sales
- Establishing commercial relationships with suppliers and customers across the European continent
- Resolving logistical related issues with counterparties
- Processing of invoices for European customers
- Managing price risk/hedging with futures

- Fluent in Italian and French or Spanish
- Background in Logistics or Export is desirable
- Good numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Willing to be on call clients over several time zones.
- Willing to travel abroad regularly to visit suppliers and customers.
- Able to work under pressure and independently.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
