Our client is a well-established International Accounting Firm based in the City of London

Italian speaking Accountant (VAT Returns)
Salary: circa £45,000 pa
Location: City of London

Main duties:
Manage the delivery of accounts and tax work across the service line, ensuring team members adherence to required standards, where work is completed on time, to standard and within budget.

The Role:
- Process Purchase/Sales Ledger invoices; General bookkeeping
- Prepare journal entries, preparing VAT returns
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
- Account/bank reconciliations / Assist with year’s end closings
- Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements
- Convert the Trial balance into specific accounts and reports as per clients’ requirements
- Prepare and maintain updated files related to Assets, depreciation, accruals & prepayments
- Able interact at all levels internal and external of the organization

- Fluent in Italian (Oral & written)
- Bachelor’s degree , ACCA part qualified, AAT or equivalent
- Accounting, bookkeeping experience
- Team player, hardworking, mature and professional individual
- A “can do attitude” essential / - Proactive individual
- Excel Advanced Level (pivot table, VLOOKUP)
- Knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Brightpay, Navision
