Mandarin or Cantonese speaking Assistant Finance Manager
Location: London
Hybrid work 1 day a week in the office
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience

Main duties: Be responsible for driving the day-to-day finance operations, financial reporting, cash flow and controls while supporting the business performance and process improvements

The role:
– Lead and oversee the Accounts Payable function ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and payments
– Manage month-end and year-end reporting including financial and management accounts
– Oversee cash flow, banking activities and intercompany transactions ensuring effective financial management
– Supervise finance and accounting operations within the business providing guidance and support to the wider team
– Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis identifying opportunities, risks and areas for improved performance
– Maintain strong financial controls, tax compliance and audit processes ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and Group policies
– Partner with internal stakeholders and companies Head Office providing clear financial information and supporting business decisions
– Lead and support finance projects, system implementations and process improvements to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement

– Fluent in English and Mandarin OR Cantonese (written and spoken) essential
– Degree in Finance / Accountancy or similar
– Professionally qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) necessary
– Experience working in a finance role is needed
– Strong experience across financial accounting, reporting, controls and cash flow management
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong commercial awareness
– Highly organised, proactive and able to take ownership and work to deadlines
– Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel
– SAP experience is desirable
– Must have the right to work in the UK
