Main duties:
The primary focus for this role is new business sales: develop relationship with new clients and partners in order to implement sales growth in a defined territory (UK & EMEAR)

The Role:
- Manage new sale, from lead generation to order placement & hand over to the operational team
- Sales pipeline management, prospecting, negotiating and closing
- Qualify and develop new sales, including customer meetings, presentations, proposal writing, draft proposals etc.
- Lead the development of relationships with 3rd party organisations to support sales goals
- Manage and report on the sales strategies and results
- Feedback to relevant teams to support new product development and marketing strategy
- Attend regular meetings in their UK Head Office
- Travel approximately 50% of the time (Mainly France and Mainland Europe)

Candidate's Profile:

- Fluent in English (Written & spoken) is ESSENTIAL
- Proficient in French, Swedish or Danish is a strong advantage
- Target-driven and strategic attitude
- Proven experience in B2B consultative long cycle sales (ideally in Laboratory/scientific Equipment)
- Self-starter - able to work remotely from the head office
- A strong negotiator with excellent communication skills at C-level (from informal discussions to formal sales presentations)
- Ability to understand science and engineering (qualifications not required)
- Flexible as 50% of travelling will be required
- IT literate – Regular MS Office
- Valid passport and Driving Licence Holder

Salary:
