Shipping Business Analyst
Location: London
Salary: up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience

Main Duties: To support with data analysis and report on cargo availability.

The Role:
– To support with data analysis projects and produce reporting tools
– To monitor cargo booking trends; to report on availability and forecast future availability
– To allocate vessel space and identify any concerns with availability vs demand
– To maintain strong client relations and ensure scheduled shipping services are adhered to
– To liaise with commercial departments and communicate cargo availability
– To identify optimal cargo movement to reduce congestion at ports whilst respecting fixed services

– Experience or Degree-Level Qualification in Maritime Shipping – Essential
– Strong MS Excel skills – Essential
– Experience in data analysis with knowledge of Power Query or Power Bi – Beneficial
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
– Excellent communication skills and a team player
