Travel Contracts Manager for Ireland
Salary: up to €45,000 per annum depending on experience and benefits

Main Duties:
We are looking for an experienced relationship builder who would focus on developing partnerships with key service suppliers across Ireland.
The candidate will be negotiating competitive rates with hotels and accommodation / service providers for clients both regular and ad-hoc visitors

The Role:
– Nurturing a successful collaboration with hotel and other service providers
– Travelling by car to meet potential partners and find new accommodation options
– Regularly visit existing properties/ hotels to contract group allocations and negotiate tour series terms for clients
– Keep your industry knowledge updated via research and site visits
– Build a buying strategy for Ireland
– Be responsible for placing series and confirming details and spaces internally, respecting the budgets and locations required
– Keep track of cancellation deadlines, fulfilment of allocations and nesting space contracted, as well as risk of overbookings

– Experience in the Irish group travel or hotel sales industry essential
– Extensive knowledge of Ireland as a destination
– Ability to work under pressure
– Positive and professional communication skills
– Ability to work as part of a team collaboratively and independently
– Enthusiastic and friendly personality
– Willing to travel around Ireland visiting hotels (driving license is essential)
